  This is such a cool place for either a date or casual friends hang out with very hip music in the background.
  
  I really like their wide selection of oysters that are priced at $1 per one during happy hours from 5-7pm! I would normally order a dozen with a combination of oysters from both the west coast (seattle) and the east coast. Normally the oyster from the west coast is smaller and carries a sweeter kick to it.
  
  I highly recommend their Diver Scallops with mushroom risotto! It's da BOMB! I don't know how they manage to make their scallop taste so fresh and flavorful at the same time. You should definitely give it a try!

  I had my wedding here and am always telling people how great of an experience it was! I got ready in a room in the inn, ceremony by the river, and reception in the main dining room. It was actually very affordable, and beautiful. I didn't have to bring my own decorations because the location it's self was so romantic!

  My significant other and I decided to stay at the English Inn for our 5 year anniversary, and it was best decision we could have made for a weekend getaway. We were incredibly impressed by our room, which was very spacious and fully featured. We read books by the fireplace, watched an old Jim Carrey movie on the tv, relaxed with the water jets on the jacuzzi, and most importantly enjoyed an incredible dinner. The grounds make for a fun and relaxing stroll when you've got nothing better to do, and everything looks exactly like you wouod imagine when you here the words English Inn, which makes it just the right place for a small getaway short of committing to a full, expensive vacation. We are absolutely going to make this a yearly practice from now on.

  Lovely doesn't begin to explain what this place is. It has beautifully appointed rooms. An excellent restaurant serving well above standard fare. To top it off they even have a quaint little bar in the basement. This is the place for a romantic stay. The staff is really nice too!
